How protection dogs could have saved the day

The recent news that someone broke into the home of the US Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi was shocking and scary, but the scenario whereby a famous or well-known person has been targeted is nothing new.

From politicians and celebrities to footballers, there are increasing stories of criminals who have either attacked them in public or entered their home. In some scenarios, there have even been family present in the home who have felt extremely threatened by the situation.

A 17-year-old was recently jailed for stabbing an intruder who entered their home. Whether it’s justice or injustice, having a weapon carries the risk of being prosecuted if it’s not used correctly.

There is, however, a better solution…

A trained protection dog is a powerful way to deter someone from breaking in. Their large, physical presence is enough to make anyone think twice, as a strong powerful Alsatian with powerful teeth is not a welcome encounter.
